Dear Sir;

I have not succeeded in securing one of the colored churches to teach in since I had to rent two rooms elsewhere. For one of them I have to pay $5 per month; for the other (which is a house of worship) I have paid $27 to fit it for school purposes. Otherwise no rent.

Early in the month I organized a school at Yellow Branch Post office Campbell Co. It numbers fifty three pupils and would number more if there was room. The room is by half too small now. The people want to build a new house; but it doubtful whether they can complete it this year without any assistance. Can the Bureau furnish them any aid as well as the repair above
