Mr Hunter said positively that the Government allow a Teacher a salary fifteen dollars per month and [[?]] more, Now you want me to teach for eight dollars, and cover all expenses - at that rate I think I would get in debt so I can't accept this offer. But if you will allow a salary of fifteen dollar per month.
I would be glad teach the school located by Mr Hunter at Louis [[?]] school house - all the citizens wants to have a school badly
