Mr R.A. Johnson's School house of the C.H is very much in need of repairs.
And as his school is about the best we have, I think it would be a good thing if it could be repaired.
I shall be glad if you will send me an amt. to go on with Eltham; as I cannot get materials, unless I have the cash.
Also balance due on the West Pt. Building.
Mrs Lowell informs me she has requested you to permit me salary for last mo. I shall be glad if you will kindly do so, at your earliest convenience
I have as yet sold very few of the books I ordered. There are some things that cannot be sold directly; such as Slates, Copy Books, Ink etc. I will settle with you for them out of this month's salary
I am,
Yours Very truly
Thos. J. Davis

P.S. The rental on the West Pt. building is due. & the owner requests me to pay it at end of every mo.
