Dear Sir:
Yours of the 12th inst. making inquiry in regard to the number of Assistants number of pupils and school accommodations is just received and read.
I have on Assistant on the ground and a letter received yesterday states that another will leave New York on the 15th.
I have registered one hundred and fifty pupils, and the number is daily increasing.
There are four school-rooms in the building; two are occupied by the Hospital, a third is completely filled with school furniture, and the fourth which will not seat more than thirty pupils comfortably.
