Miss Cynthia Everett begins school in Norfolk on Monday, making three teachers on the ground; three or four more will be sent soon. The appropriation by the city authorities is only $4000.00. It will help us and the schools more for the Bureau to rent the necessary school buildings than to pay us the $10.00 per mo. rental.
