Alexander, Hill - Nov 15th

Mr Manly
Dear sir
your letter has been received. I received three blank reports from you only - zero of them have been filled out and sent. one for sept. and the other oct. The one I now have I shall fill out the last of this month. I should have sent reports to Miss Lowell before this but expected to receive them. I have reported my school to her the best I could in a letter. I rec'd from you a letter in yesterdays mail dated Oct 16th perhaps the blanks to be sent to New York have been mislaid in the same way.
I am paying $1. 1/2 pr month for this house in which I teach - with privilege of as much wood as is necessary for school I shall send down as soon as I hear from Mrs. Lowell and get the books necessary for school
Vry Respectfully your obedient servant
Edward Lomax
