I enclose the only receipt of yours in which Child's name appears - it covers what we agreed to pay him for May & June. He began to teach April 20th & I have no doubt that we sent you what we owed him for the first ten days, but your receipt for the Teachers from March 1st to May 1st has no designation of individuals / which was my fault - I made it out on our printed blank & put in no names), so that there is no proof. I hope this is sufficient, however.
Is Childs teaching now & does he expect us to pay him?

Please let me have the receipt again
