Mr Spenser's kind note came safely and I am much obliged to him for the trouble. 
Mr Abrams says he intends to report to you three men in the neighborhood who has not sent their children to school. They have about 20, 15 of whom they might send, and I think they will send them after awhile. It seems from I can understand about it, that they want the preeminence. Not seeming to understand the fact, that everybody can't be President.
