R. M. Manly, Supt. Ed.
Richmond Va.
Dear Sir,
I enclose herewith the report for the second month of school - In connection I should like simply to inquire who I am teaching school for? I give them about nine hours each day which I certainly cannot do without being paid something for it & it would be more satisfactory if I might rightly understand by whom I am employed; Mr. Corson having never intimated to me that the Association had taken the school entirely under this contract, but merely promised aid in addition to that received from Mr Bunan.
Very Respectfully
