R.M. Manly
Supt. Education Richmond, Va

I wrote to thee yesterday relative to appt. of R.E.R Thompson & other subjects.

My object in writing now is to inquire at what time and in what form our application for the $5-per mo. * promised from the Peabody Fund for the new schools in S.W. va. should be made, whether at the time of applying for the Quarterly Rental from the Bureau, or at the expiration of every month (most of these schools were adopted in 10th month).

Thy prompt kindness & cooperation with our Assoc. makes me feel at liberty to ask for needed information.
Ry
M.E. Shearman, Act.

* It was understood that this was to be pd to the Assoc. direct not to the teachers themselves
