I have a letter from Miss Jones.  I wrote her that she was our teacher & to let me know when her school opened & I would pay her in full.

Sent her a very nice box of industrial goods, bills, papers, Christmas toys, candy &c yesterday. 

Will hear from her in few days & pay her on Jan 1st
