Dear Sir,

Please find monthly report for Dec. 1869, enclosed.

Mr. Varner is in Liberty today settling about the property upon which stands our school.  He will make his last payment on tomorrow and will then lift the Deed.  I shall write you again as to what transpires in relation to our pound.  He has given lesl. people a receipt for $250.00/- for money paid and work done.

I would feel obliged by your letting me have a School Register, as I have none at present.
