[] a helping hand from you in the way of books also in our compensation for teaching we have impose a tax of fifty cents per head out of that we furnish all the books that is use & also house tent an fuel for the past 11 months an only 25 out of the 65 can meet the demands of the school some have not paid one dime since entering the school under such circumstances unless some aid is given I will be compel to disband my school which will be one of the hardest acts of my life to do  I will be compel to  I have not been paid for the past 17 months, all sum'd for my labours 75.00  I am now in debt for books which I am not able to pay the school is one that promised to work with any in the state the studies that are taught are  as follows see oppst page
