N.E. Branch Freedmen's Union Commission. No. 8 STUDIO BUILDING, Boston, June 16 18[[strikethrough]]6[[/strikethrough]]70 Mr. Manly, Dear Sir, Will you please inform us whether you think it would be desirable for us to keep up another year, Mr Johnson's school at King Wm. & Mr. Lazenby's at Emans. Mrs. Lowell thinks very highly of both of them & advises us to consult with you about them. They are both very anxious to continue teaching & the people seem very desirous to have them again. An early answer will greatly oblige us. Very truly yours E.D. Cheney by C.L.F. over.
