Sir,

While at your office you called my attention to School Books for my Schollars; My School commenced today January 24th 1870.

I have 38 Schollars names on my book, but only 25 made their appearance today, it being rainey

I will you would please send me the following books, & suit yourself as to what kind.

6 First Readers
3 2nd Readers
5 Primers
7 Primary Geography
8 Arithimetics. I thought that I would not wait I will write again in a day or two. I expect to have about 45 or 50 Schollars.
