Mr. Abrams has shifted off down South, in quest of higher wages. He has never had the blinds fasten back, consequently, two or three of them has been taken off by the propitious winds, and now lay on the ground. He paid the Carpenter, $23; and the balance he appropriated to himself; and leaves a debt of $10. for the Church to pay for the sash &c. But I hope they will not notice it. I was never more deceived in a person. His speech is fair, and seemingly as honest, and truthful, as the morning light; but it is impossible to realize a performance of his promises if his interest is not consulted. Please say if you think I could find a situation in the City another year.
Most Truly Yours
Annie Alston.
