Mr. Manly,

Dear Sir,
Two of the teachers recently transferred to us from the New York Society write us the people are moving south in such numbers as to break up their schools, and ask us to assign them to a new location. We have referred them to you. Mrs. Usher of Marion writes that Cap. Schaffer desires her to go to Natural Bridge; and asks permission. Not knowing Capt. S's official position as adviser we ask your advice.
