I enclose my Report, receipt for the rent, and the one from the Bureau. Your letters were rec'd. yes  I taken your criticisms kindly. I have given out the words you selected to my class and others besides. I am interested in my school and wish to instruct them in the way that will benefit them most. The week of the snow storm there was a larger number absent than were before as there are a number who have to walk between three and four miles  I had an operation performed on my eye last week and had to close school three days. I remain in darkness. But it is much better now. I am in hopes not to loose another day. I have $20 in my possession & as the rent is paid from the Peabody fund, the thought occurred to my mind you
