Dear Sir;-
Your letter was duly received. I was much pleased to perceive how promptly you acted in Mary's case. Her mother was also greatly relieved. When I [[crossed out]] tol [[/crossed out]] read your letter to them her grandmother threw up her hands, and expressed so much gratitude to the northern people. She is one who really does, feel grateful - her demonstrations are not all for show. Mary is very young, but I earnestly hope she may succeed. Her story would indeed be a romance. If it is not too much trouble I would be very much pleased to have Mary's letter -the
