Templemans X Roads, April 1, 1870

Mr. R.M. Manly

Sir-
The books, Slates, &c which you sent me, came Monday.- but there was no bill. Mr. Jones said he would send me one, when he sent the books; and with them the bill so that I might know how to sell them. 

As I do not know the price of any of them, I do not know at what price to sell them. 

I suppose tho that he was in a hurry when he put them up and forgot to put the bill in. I would be very thanful to you if you would remind Mr. Jones of this, or send them to me yourself. As I have not been teaching a month, I do not know
