Templeman's X Roads Apl. 18. 1870 Mary Conyers Templeman's x. Roads, April 18, 1870 Mr. R.M. Manly: I have just received your letter, and I will hasten to reply. I received a letter from Mr. Jones and the bill of the book 's states etc. at the time I received yours. Tell Mr. Jones that I changed the name of my school, because the people were opposed to having the school taught in the church I did not think it was proper for my school to be called after that church if the people thought it was wrong to have a school in it. I am getting along finely with my school at present- and I hope it will continue so. I am very well satisfied with a county school. I do wish you could see my schoolroom
