Revd R M. Manley
Richmond Va

Dear Sir,

We are anxious as early now, as practicable to commence our school, Mr Howe's daughter is not expected to come and I hope we can get another in her stead.

I have been trying to get off & come to see you , but could not and to explain every thing in regard to our plan and expectations,

Our two courts are in session at present and I have only a few moments to devote to writing.

Please let me hear from you on the subject of the Teacher. very truly yours &c
