My dear Mr. Manly,
Your letter of the 7th inst. was duly received, and I must beg you to excuse the delay in sending answer. I consulted Mr. Collins & again Mr Shaw. Neither of them sees any objection to our signing the Memorial you sent, except that in the paragraph which is marked, mistake is made of a mention of my Father's will. He only held the property as treasurer of the  Assn and we think the paper should read "the conveyance was made by his executors to carr out" &c, and again let the words "without
