days. There are thee Teachers here from the North viz Mr Park his wife and his mother Sent out by the N.Y. Freedmens Aid Society to take chare of the School and they expect to open this week. The School house at Bristol has not been completed on account of the scarseity of lumber the Season being so dry that most of the saw mills done nothing Mr Hill President of the School Committee promised me last week that he would hasten the work as soon as possible. the intrist in Education is not so strong at Bristol as at this place.
