In regard to Miss Sue C. Bolling, I gave her encouragement to try and gather a sufficient number of scholars to make a respectable school, by promising to apply for liberty to lease the school room she occupies at the rate of five dollars per month, which application I forward at this time trusting it will meet with a favorable response.

I have not visited her school but see by her Report that she now has fifteen scholars, and her father informed me today that she expected more soon.
