6th question. In answer to this question I will state That Teachers from abroad will be required at both of these locations and I respectfully recommend that colored teachers be sent as it will be almost impossible to procure board & lodging for the teachers in white families. The freedmen themselves will board the teachers if they be colored ones & pay the salary of the teachers &c.

7th question. The answer to the 6th question answers this question, as the freedmen propose furnishing their own School houses, making the necessary repairs, furnishing the rooms with seats desks and Blackboards, pay the salaries of the teachers & defray the expense of board, and furnish the fuel and lights for day and evening schools and take care of school rooms at the two foregoing named locations.
