Further remarks. A small amount of means judiciously expended would build School houses in permanent localities and the people would soon sustain them. The most feasible plan seems to be to first get the land either by donation or purchase, let the people build the houses, all that is required from the Bureau being Nails, Sash and Glass. After the Crops are divided most of them will have some means and will probably be able to sustain a six month school. Mr. Murphy late Chaplain 1st Del. Vols is a very energetic man and would no doubt be willing to take charge of this and surrounding Counties under the Govt.
