| The cost of the site for such buildings would be trifling As the must desirable locations could be secured at from $15 to $20 per acre. The buildings in my judgement should be two story, two rooms in each floor and building at least 40 by 70 feet Wooden buildings would cost less and could be made to answer all purposes | It would be difficult to obtain compitent teachers here. Those who are properly qualified would not undertake the business by reason of prejudiceor false justice. I am of the opinion that teachers would have to be brought from the North. Boarding can be had at from 3 to $5 per week convenient to the schools | I am unable to find any residents here who are friendly to the enterprise unless it be the colored people and their poverty stricken condition precludes the possibility of realizing any material aid from that direction. I think for some time the Government would be compelled to furnish all the books and pay all the expenses of building & keeping up the schools. | There are no Govt buildins or lands in this county |

I hereby certify that to the best of my knowle
