In compliance with Circular No 5 War Dep'rt. Bureau R. F. & A. L. Washington. Feb 20th - 1867, I have the honor to report that I have completed a town of my Sub District and find the following places destitute of Schools.
In Lunenburg County there ar no schools whatever and are needed at the following points throughout the Co.
"Meherrin Station". Sufficient ground can be bought here for $20 and the number of scholars who would attend between the ages of 6 and 21 years of age are 100-
"Hungary Town". Site for a school can be bought for $15 - No of scholars of the above ages who would attend are 75.
"Lunenburg C. House". Acre of land can be bought for $35, with sufficient wood on it to build a School House. The number of scholars of the above ages who would attend are 125.
"Mc Foulans" ground can be purchased for $20 and No of scholars who would attend of the above ages are 75.
