In compliance with circular No: 5, dated War Dept. Bureau of R. F and A. L. Washington D.C. Feb. 20, 1867.  I have the honor to make the following report.  There are three Schools started in this Division, one at Horntown Accomac County taught by Louisa Selby who can only teach the Children in Spell. one at a place called "New Boston" 2½ miles South of Pungoteague Accomac County, taught by James Martin (Cold:). One situated 2 miles South of Eastville Northampton County, taught by Jennie Jacob, Cold:, number of Scholars in this School 18.

At Bridgetown Northampton County, the Freedmen have purchased one acre of Land, and have some Eighty dollars towards purchasing the Lumber to build, which will cost the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars.

The following places in Accomac County are destitute of Schools, Modesttown, Onancoele, and Drummondtown.  At Drummondtown and neighbourhood, their are from Seventy five to Eighty youth and Children.
At Modesttown and neighbourhood, there are from Sixty to Seventy five youth and Children.
