at Onancock county neighbourhood, their are from thirty to forty youth, all of Children.

The following places in Northampton County are destitute of Schools. Bridgetown, Eastville, Hadlock and Franktown. A School at Bridgetown will accommodate all the youth and Children at Franktown and Johnsontown: There are at these three places, about two hundred and fifty youth and Children-

At Eastville and neighbourhood, there are from one hundred to one hundred and forty youth and Children.

At Hadlock there are from thirty to forty youth and Children

The Freedmen in this Div: have been more anxious to build Churches, than Schools, but I think they now understand the advantage of having Schools. And are trying to get the money to buy a piece of Land and build Schools.

The principle obstacle in the way of building School Houses in this Dist: is that the Landowners, are not disposed to sell enough for school purposes, but - I think that this can be overcome when the Freedmen make a move in earnest to save enough money to purchase.
