differs from the others only in being larger. It is just opened for the year with Miss. Gardner as principal and is graded according to the attainments of the various classes, which are taught by this assistants well qualified for and very earnest in their perspective places. The scholars here as elsewhere exhibit good results from last years schooling. The list I give above comprises all the schools in this Div'n comprising Orange, Louisa, and Albemarle Co. The schools houses are in fair condition and I have no suggestion to offer that I consider practicable at present for the benefit of any of the schools. They are as well in all respect as is possible for the present.
