Sir,
In accordance with Cir 17 Series 1867, Hd Qrs Asst Com Dist Va. I have the honor to make the following Report on the condition of the Andrews School. Viz: I have visited it several times during this month. There is fifty two pupils attending the school, and they are learning very fast. Said school has been in operation since April 24th/68. The scholars have made more rapid progress, than I have ever known white pupils to do in the same time.
Very Respectfully
Your Obdt Servant
