| Dec 29 1865 Sylvia Ann Saunders Complains that her children are held in bondage by Danl Russell of Robinson County who refuses to give them up- | Complaint under oath forwarded to asst. comm N.C. with following endorsement. Respectfully forwarded. Miss Saunders represents herself as able to provide for her children with such assistance as they can render, being all but old enough to work. She desires they may be returned to her. The case is forwarded as one for immediate investigation. Dec 29 |
