| Bureau of R.F and A.L. Office Asst Sup't L.D.M Morgantown, N.C. June 26/66 Anton, Hannibal D. Bvt Maj and Asst. Supt States that application has been made at his Office by Elijah Avery (Col'd) for custody of his son, Andrew N. Avery, aged 12 years, now held and kept by Edward Blackwell, residing in Hyde Co, N. C. that the boy was taken away from Burke Co, about two years ago, by Mr Blackwell and that Elijah has no means of getting his son home, and requests that the Agent of the  Bureau for Hyde County furnish transportation for the boy, to Morganston, N.C.
