Sir,

I have the honor to request information in regard to the manner of performing the duties of this Bureau, and about the price collected for making contracts, as I could not find any thing about the orders that gave any instructions whatever in the matter. Mr [[Willey?]] said the price for a single name was one dollar, and ten cents for every additional name, but it is reported that in some cases that he charged as high as five dollars, therefore I would like to know the regular price
