Captain,

before going to the post-office with this package a prominent citizen of this place called and showed me a circular from battle Haick & Co. I wish you would explain the 17th paragraph where they set forth that the Labor Contracts have been turned over to these Land Speculators as alas their agents are to be empowered to bind the Cold. children out

Please if you have not alriad done so have two hundred blank Indentures struck of for me and send bill as also how much I may charge for binding these children
