law abiding citizens and some of them promise to make good and useful people. 

My health has suffered considerably having been unable to attend to Washington County as much as I could wish while the people have suffered from the effects of the war in the destruction of Plymouth. I am sorry to say that some parties still keep up a feeling of hatred to the Govt of the United States that to say the the least of it is very objectionable. I shall if not relieved of that county go there and adjust the business there as soon as my health will permit.
