Off of Asst. Supt. Bu.R.F. & A.L.
Kinston N.C.
April 21, 1866
Captain
A Corporal and their men reported to me for duty yesterday without Rations or Tents. The Corporal returned to Goldsboro last evening and brought Rations but no Tents.
What Arrangements shall I make for quarters for them? There are here no buildings in the possession of the Bureau. Accd. [[accommodations]] now can be had without paying rent. They are at present quartered at my personal expense.
Please advise me
Very Respectfully
