THE BUFFALO FINE ARTS ACADEMY
ALBRIGHT ART GALLERY
BUFFALO, NEW YORK OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR

June 4, 1941

To Whom It May Concern:

Yasuo Kuniyoshi, the bearer of this letter, is an eminent American painter. Mr. Kuniyoshi is on an extended tour of the southwestern states, drawing and painting things of interest to him and which can be used in preparation for his oil paintings. There is no question whatsoever concerning his intentions or his activities. Art museums and art students throughout the countyr [[country]] are as well acquainted with his work as they are with that of any American painter. They would appreciate as I do any courtesy that can be extended to Mr. Kuniyoshi while on his trip.

Sincerely yours,
[[signature]]
Director.
