The bearer of this letter, Mr. Yasuo Kuniyoshi, is an artist who has long worked in this country, and is one of the most distinguished of American painters. I have known Mr. Kuniyoshi personally for some years, and his work is represented in the Portland Art Museum as well as many of the leading Art Museums of the country.
