Dear Mr. Kuniyoshi:
     During the military occupation of Japan, the New York Field Office of the Reorientation Division of the Department of the Army has been responsible for the furnishing of music, art, radio, and theatre materials to the Civil Information and Education Section in Japan which is under General Headquarters of the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers.

     On 31 December 1951, the functions of this office will cease. Arrangements have been made with the ap-propriate divisions of the Department of State to as-sist the Reorientation Division, Department of the Army to continue services formerly provided by this office.

     All information desired on the Program after 31 December 1951 may be obtained from the Department of State.

     We wish to express our appreciation for the co-operation you and the members of your staff have shown to this office.
