I have a collection of many still life objects in a great variety of shapes and textures. I have collected all these both because I love them and also because I use them in my paintings.
I construct my paintings by approaching these objects psychologically and emotionally ---- setting them in relationships and environment which create associations stemming from personal experiences.
Room 110 has no story, if there is a story it is a very complicated one --- dealing with elimination and destruction and pictorial recreation, reflecting my life.

I have assiduously collected throughout the years numerous objects of various shapes, textures, and colors because of their special appeal to me, and with the thought of using them in my paintings, My approach to these objects, for painting purposes, is from the psychological as well as emotional viewpoint, setting them in a relationship and environment that creates an association stemming from personal experience. [[underline]] Room 110 [[/underline]] has no story. If there is a story it is one of complexities, dealing with elimination and destruction, pictorially recreated as a reflection of my life.
