Dear Yas:

I can't tell you how floored I was to get the clippings from the L.A. papers - that was a wonderful job you did. Dan came down over the weekend to discuss various matters and brought them along. He went back on this morning's bus & we will reproduce the clippings to go out to all the members. Also Helen expects to have reprints of Plumley's remarks and his franked envelopes to-day for mailing to membership.

Have been having a really good vacation and will go back to New York for a while a week from to-day. Helen says things are great in the office but undoubtedly she has been reporting direct to you. Things are very lively here this year, and it does see to me that interest in the arts is increasing country-wide.

I hope everything is working out to your satisfaction there at Mills College. I like that part of the country so much that it is always a temptation to move out there, and we are thinking of sending the children out west for their college education.

Jane joins in sending you and Sara our very best regards
Sincerely
Hudson
