I am very glad now to introduce to you our speaker, the Register of Copyrights, who has come from Washington just to attend this meeting. Mr. Warner, a distinguished lawyer and teacher, has brought to the Copyright Office abilities and training which enable him to be a great help to artists and to the public. He is the holder of three degrees from Harvard University and served as a flyer in the first World War, and in the OSS in this last war. He has been a Professor of Law in the University of Oregon, Northwestern, Columbia and Harvard, and was written many books and articles dealing with legal subjects. His great experiences in the revision of statutory law has helped and will continue to help in the improvement of copyright law. He will speak to us today on the artist's rights in his work. Mr. Sam B. Warner.
