I also met the press and museum staffs. It was a valuable experience, for I learned about local problems and in turn, reported on the latest developments in Equity. Missions of this nature are an excellent means of clarifying points of policy and establishing good-will. We would like to encourage all members who are working closely with us to carry this program forward. 

As our constitution now stands, it meets our needs adequately, but since we are a growing organization it has to be a flexible instrument. As we add new Chapters and expand in numbers our requirements will change and we must be responsive to the new demands. 

Here, I should like to outline briefly some of the proposed plans for the term 1950-51. A Steering Committee will be appointed to map out the year's program. This committee will further pursue those matters which have been passed by the Board. As usual, the Directors will meet quarterly to discuss general policy. The Executive Board shall meet hereafter, whenever necessary and as determined by the demands of the Steering Committee.
