Mr. Yasuo Kuniyoshi
30 East 14th Street
New York City

Dear Mr. Kuniyoshi:

We now have our program fairly well completed and we are able to give you some details on it. Eddie Shimano told us that he has looked over the draft of your speech and we are appreciative of the time and energy you have put into preparing it.

The program will NOT follow the sequence as follows absolutely because a few of the speakers will not be able to be present from the beginning of the program. William S. Gailmor will be our main speaker and he will be scheduled to speak at 10:00 p.m. when he comes from his radio broadcast.

The rest of the program will be:

Star Spangled Banner 8:00 p.m.
Dr. Kurihara's opening remarks
Charles Bidien
Aziz Pabaney
Tomi Kanazawa, singer
Yasuo Kuniyoshi
Folk dance group
Shih Kwan
Michael Obermeier--Collection--greetings
Saye Oyama, dancer
William S. Gailmor
Pearl Buck (she will appear at a time when she can leave another meeting she is attending that night)
Chin Wan, sword dancer
Dr. Kurihara--resolution from the rally

Our program if it clicks along efficiently will take two and a half hours but since we must always allow for some wastage of time we find ourselves forced to ask speakers to limit their speeches in order that we may not find our program stretching into the night. We are asking that your talk be not over 10 minutes although we know that it is hardly sufficient time to express your thoughts fully. We hope that this will not be too discouraging because we are truly appreciative of your support and aid in this program.

Sincerely, Ernest S. Iiyama A.D.
