July 27, 1942
Mr. Yasuo Kuniyoshi
Woodstork, Mass.

Dear Mr. Kuniyashi:
UCK was so pleased with the results of the Kuniyoshi exhibition Mrs. Sloan, Mrs. Walker's assistant, said she was particularly grafted because it was money raised with no trouble to anyone except you and the gallery!

I hope you are enjoying your vacation. No matter where you are though you'll be thinking of the war and what you can do to defeat fascism.

Miss Connor of UCK asked me to thank you for doing the sketches from the three books - Leaf in the Storm, Dragon Seed and China Shall Rise Again. She hopes it won't push you too much to have them
