June 15th

No 7

The attention of Sub-District Officers is called to Circular No 3 dated Hd. Qrs As't Comr &c May 4 1866. By said date all Assistant Superintendents are required to forward to the As't Comr of the State on the 1st and 15th of each month a Report of the Sanitary Condition of the Freedmen in their reported Districts. These reports are to be after a thorough inspection of the camps and here of all dependent Freedmen, [[?]] sending, and should be forwarded through their Head Quarters. Attention is required to the Orders and Circulars previously issued, as I can see no necessity of being obliged to issue supplementary orders calling attention of Officers to orders now in their possession
