States that many applications have been made for stoves to warm the wards of Hogan Hos. but as yet none have been recd. also that inconvenience of this delay. The patients are suffering from cold, & he requests that he be furnished with six stoves & the necessary pipe in order to give sufficient warmth to this Hos.
