Wilmington N.C. 26th Nov 1866 Respcty returned to Col. J.D. Stubbs A.Q.M. This transportation should be from Wilmington N.C. to Petersburg Va. Will Col Stubbs please send the transportation as soon as possible - Allan Rutherford Lt Col & Supt See p 41 --- Office Surg. in Charge So. Dist. N.C. Wilmington N.C. 25 Nov. 1866. Day. Warren E. A.A.Surg. U.S.A. States that many applications have been made for stoves to warm the wards of Hogan Hos. but as yet none have been recd. also that inconvenience of this delay. The patients are suffering from cold, & he requests that he be furnished with six stoves & the necessary pipe in order to give sufficient warmth to this Hos. Wilmington N.C. 26th Nov. 1866 Respectfully referred to the Asst. Com'r with a request that the stoves be furnished or that are [[?]] to purchase be given.
